Professional parliamentarians do charge for their services, as do other professionals, but having one in your corner to anticipate issues and solve problems that arise can be a big help in ensuring that any meeting or endeavor will run efficiently and effectively. Fees are in some cases negotiable, but for meeting services the hourly rate is normally $150.00 per hour with a minimum of two hours for on-site time. There is typically also time to be considered for advance preparation and review of governing documents.
